Mid Autumn Festival 2025

On 4 October 2025, Hwa Chong’s highly anticipated Mid-Autumn Festival lit up the campus once again.

This year’s celebration featured vibrant booths by HCAstro and the Calligraphy Club, alongside engaging games such as 射壶 (Pitch-pot) and 许愿烁一烁 (Make a wish), which added a playful touch to the festivities.

Beyond the booths, the annual MAF concert “烁” (Sparkle) dazzled the audience with an impressive line-up of performances. The evening began with a captivating piece by the Chinese Orchestra, followed by performances from the String Ensemble, Weyoung, Chinese Dance, and Wushu. It was a heartwarming evening that brought together alumni, students, and staff in celebration of shared traditions and the enduring Hwa Chong spirit.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Student Council for their dedication and effort in organising the event, as well as to the Hwa Chong Junior College Alumni, Hwa Chong Alumni Association, and College Parents’ Support Group for contributing to the success of the festival with their delectable food, engaging activities, and delightful giveaways.

The Mid-Autumn Festival continues to shine as a cherished tradition that unites the Hwa Chong community in joy, gratitude, and celebration.
