【化语传馨】华中高中部语特35周年暨双文化课程20周年双庆

8月2日，华侨中学（高中部）举办了语文特选课程35周年暨双文化课程20周年双庆，邀请课程校友及师生出席这场温馨的聚会。

在【文脉相承，语见未来】校友分享会环节中，课程校友陈志锐教授、林婷婷、吕明远、孙圆媛和程万里热情分享了他们对语特和双文化课程的感悟。校友们一致认同双语能力在各个领域中的重要性，并分享课程对他们的事业以及人生所产生的深刻影响。

接着，2022届语特校友黄天泰为双庆之喜特意献上精心培植的胡姬花【华苑】（Phalaenopsis Hwa Yuan HCI），表达对母校的真挚祝福。李白彬校长从黄天泰校友手中接过【华苑】，并感谢校友回来母校团聚。

特此祝愿华中双文化和语特课程犹如松柏长青，日月绚耀永恒！

Celebrating 35 Years of CLEP and 20 Years of BSP

On 2 Aug, Hwa Chong Institution (College Section) joyfully celebrated two milestones: the 35th anniversary of the Chinese Language Elective Programme (CLEP) and the 20th anniversary of the Bicultural Studies Programme (BSP). Alumni, teachers, and students gathered together for this special occasion.

We were honoured to welcome distinguished alumni, Professor Tan Chee Lay, Ms. Lim Ting Ting, Mr. Lu Mingyuan, Ms. Sun Yuanyuan, and Mr. Cheng Wan Li, who shared inspiring stories about their journeys in these Special Programmes. They highlighted the invaluable role of bilingualism across diverse fields and reflected on the lasting impact CLEP and BSP have had on their lives.

Our CLEP alumnus, Mr Julius Ng Tian Tai (22S6K) presented his cultivated orchid, Phalaenopsis Hwa Yuan HCI, to the school, symbolising his warm wishes for the continued success of both programmes. Our Principal, Mr Lee Peck Ping, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the all alumni members for returning to their alma mater.

May we look forward to more good years to come for Hwa Chong’s CLEP and BSP!
