The Singapore Police Force Scholarship and MHA Scholarships Award Ceremony 2026

Hwa Chong Institution is pleased to congratulate our eight students who have been awarded the Singapore Police Force (SPF) Scholarship and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Scholarships 2026.

The scholarships recognise outstanding young individuals for their academic excellence, leadership qualities and commitment to public service. As they embark on their journey with the Home Team, the scholars will have opportunities to develop their potential and prepare for meaningful careers in public service.

At the award ceremony, Senior Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Mr K Shanmugam welcomed the scholarship recipients and highlighted the importance of strong leadership, sound judgement and a deep sense of purpose in serving Singapore.

Ms Charlene Tan Rui Xian is also the first female Singapore Police Force (SPF) scholarship holder to be awarded the President’s Scholarship.

We are proud of our scholars for this significant achievement and look forward to seeing them grow into capable and committed leaders who will contribute to the safety and security of Singapore.
