Featuring inspirational remarks from Guest-of-Honour Mr. Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health, the story highlights the dedicated scholars embarking on impactful careers across public healthcare, clinical care, and allied health fields to serve Singapore's community.
Hwa Chong Institution extends our warmest congratulations to our alumni who received MOH Holdings (MOHH) Healthcare Scholarships at the Healthcare Scholarships Award Ceremony on 28 July 2026 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre! We are immensely proud of your dedication to serving the community and leading positive change in Singapore's healthcare landscape.
In his address, Guest-of-Honour Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, highlighted how meaningful and practical a career in healthcare is, as healthcare workers step up when patients are most vulnerable to treat, care, and restore hope. He reminded scholars that beyond being an exciting and team-driven field, choosing to serve in public healthcare ultimately makes one a better person.
