Hwa Chong Institution highlights the achievements of its alumni who were presented with prestigious awards at the Ministry of Education (MOE) Scholarship Ceremony 2026. Joined by teachers, parents, and loved ones, the scholars celebrated their hard work and dedication to educational excellence. We are immensely proud of our Hwa Chongians who were awarded the MOE Teaching Scholarships and Teaching Awards at the MOE Scholarship Ceremony 2026, held last Friday, 31 July 2026!
Speaking at the event, Minister for Education Desmond Lee highlighted that while technology continues to evolve rapidly, true success lies in nurturing irreplaceable human qualities like empathy, critical thinking, and resilience. He reminded educators that small, everyday acts of role-modelling and mentorship can profoundly shape a student’s journey—often far more than we realize.
