Congratulations to Exley Yun for being awarded the prestigious Land Transport Authority (LTA) Scholarship!
Exley received this honor on 5 Aug 2024 from Minister for Transport Chee Hong Tat at the Ministry of Transport Scholarship Ceremony. Exley will be pursuing a degree in Geography at NUS, with plans to pursue a master’s degree abroad.
In his speech, the minister highlighted the fifteenth anniversary of the Beacon Scholarship, which supports emerging talent in transport-related fields such as engineering and economics, aiming to cultivate future leaders in the sector. He emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing Singapore's livability and sustainability through significant investments in expanding the transport network and adopting environmentally friendly technologies. The minister also underscored the crucial role of scholars in advancing the nation's transport infrastructure and sustainability goals, noting that many are pursuing further education and contributing innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
