HCI Students Participate in Prestigious Science Competition

This year, 86 aspiring scientists from Hwa Chong (see photograph below) submitted 52 projects across more than 18 different categories for the 19th Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) organized by Ministry of Education (MOE), the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and the Science Centre Singapore (SCS).

The SSEF is affiliated to the prestigious Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), which is widely regarded as the Olympics of science competitions.

As testimony to the hard work and tenacious spirit displayed by our students, staff and research mentors, the team brought home 3 Gold Medals and 1 Junior Scientist Award.

Stanley Ho will receive the Broadcom MASTERS (Math, Applied Science, Technology, and Engineering for Rising Stars) international sponsorship which entails a sponsored trip to represent Singapore at the prestigious Broadcom MASTERS International (BCMI) programme from 12 to 17 May 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
