HCI Student is Joint Second Winner of Prestigious Robert Walker Prize by Trinity College, Cambridge15 Jul 2016
The Robert Walker Prize for Essays in Law is a prestigious competition that is named after Lord Walker of Gestingthorpe, an Honorary Fellow of Trinity College, who is the organizer of this competition. It aims to encourage students with an interest in Law to explore that interest by researching, considering and developing an argument about a legal topic of importance to modern society.
Tan Jin Hsi, Gabriel (15A14) came in joint second in the Robert Walker Prize for Essays in Law.
He added that:
"I am honoured to have received an award from Cambridge for my essay; it came as a surprise as I did not expect to do so well given the large pool of participants internationally and stringent judging criteria of the competition. In light of this, I am tremendously grateful to Mr Burge, my Civics Tutor and mentor for this competition, for his wisdom and support, without which this result would not have been possible."Learn more about General News at HCI
