Non-teaching Positions

Position: Finance Officer (Accounts Receivable)

Job Descriptions:

  • Take charge of school fees collection and financial assistance related matters
  • Take charge of banking and fixed asset accounting
  • Take charge of collation and submission of reports
  • Handle students’ and travel insurance matters
  • Provide administrative support for students’ overseas trips
  • Provide any other ad-hoc financial and administrative support

Requirements:

  • Diploma holders with 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivables
  • Competent in Microsoft office applications especially Excel skills
  • Highly detailed and meticulous with good organisational skills
  • Good interpersonal, customer service
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to embrace student-centric service culture
  • Able to handle information with integrity and confidentially

Position: Administration Officer

Job Descriptions:

  • To ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school's reception
  • To provide support to the organising secretary of various events
  • To attend to students / parents / public enquiries & request through emails, phone calls, and over the counter
  • To perform administrative support to staff, including training administration, leave verification, recruitment and corporate gift issuance
  • To provide other administrative and operational support as required by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Minimum 'O' level or higher
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in administrative work
  • Highly customer oriented and able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Computer literate and proficient in use of MS Office applications is essential
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team

Position: Senior Boarding Executive / Boarding Executive (IT/AV) – 2 years contract

Job Descriptions:

Development/Maintenance of systems/applications

  • To understand, develop and deliver systems/applications solutions
  • To maintain and implement new functionalities and features for existing systems
  • To improve the process and workflow of documents
  • To identify risks and provide solution for the confidentiality, access, and back-up through hardware, software and corporate policy development of document security
  • To provide end user technical support and troubleshooting of Audio Visual equipment, IT hardware/software issues
  • To manage and troubleshoot company website issues

Boarding Duties

  • To provide administrative and operational support for all Boarding matters. These include the areas such as rental and co-ordination of rooms and facilities, events management, housekeeping and students mentoring
  • To provide well-being support to students and interact with various stakeholders and nationalities
  • To provide any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology/Systems
  • At least 2 – 3 years of relevant field experience
  • Good team player and is adaptable to changes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong in IT and analytical skills
  • Knowledge in website, PHP portal design/coding skills, Linux will be advantageous
  • Able to stay-in at the boarding school
  • Required to be flexible in working hours to perform night shifts and weekend duties occasionally

Position: Boarding Executive (Estate and Maintenance) – 2 years Contract/Permanent

Job Descriptions:

Estate and Maintenance

  • To manage smooth operations of estate and facilities
  • To conduct routine checks and proper maintenance on facilities cleanliness and safety
  • To repair and replace M&E fittings and equipment
  • To supervise contractors
  • To attend to stakeholders’ request and/or feedback
  • To povide logistical support to school events & activities

Boarding Duties

  • To provide administrative and operational support for all Boarding matters. These include the areas such as rental and co-ordination of rooms and facilities, events management, housekeeping and students mentoring

  • At least a NITEC in Engineering
  • At least 3 years of hands on experience in Facility and Building Maintenance

  • Able to stay-in at the boarding school
  • Required to be flexible in working hours to perform night shifts and weekend duties occasionally

Position: Research Laboratory Technician

Job Descriptions:

Administration

  • To ensure efficient & effective daily running of the respective labs in Research Centre
  • To manage stock inventory and acquire all resources necessary for the laboratories
  • To supervise lab attendants

Laboratory Duties

  • To put in place and maintain safety guidelines in the laboratories
  • To prepare materials for student research projects and enrichment
  • To assist mentors in planning of research projects
  • To assist in supervising students in their research projects
  • To train students in technical skills and proper care or disposal of experimental materials
  • To ensure proper maintenance of all equipment in the laboratories
  • Any other duties as assigned by the school

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Chemistry or related field of studies
  • At least 5 years of work experience in research laboratories or related laboratory work
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to work with students is an advantage

Position: Assistant Audio Visual Technician

Job Descriptions:

  • To provide assistance to teachers in the use of AVA equipment for their teaching
  • To provide AVA technical support in the daily operation, running of school events/activities and event coordination (e.g. sound & light mixer operation, setting up of venue)
  • To assist in asset management
  • To handle, repair and maintain AVA equipment and facilities under AVA
  • To provide basic audio/video production for the teachers
  • To liaise with vendors on repair and maintenance, project installation

Requirements:

  • Minimum National ITE Certificate holders in relevant fields e.g. NITEC in digital audio & video production, Electrical Technology (lighting & sound)
  • No prior experience needed but relevant working experience(s) will be an advantage
  • Team player and willing to work with Secondary and Junior College students
