Hwa Chong team clinches Top Prize of $8000 in the National Green Wave Competition for 2nd consecutive year
Hwa Chong students' creative and innovative projects to save the environment impressed the judges in the 2008 Green Wave Competition. 6 teams from Hwa Chong won an array of prizes in both the College and Secondary School Categories including the 1st Prize Award ($8000), 2 Merit Awards ($1000) and 3 Commendation Awards ($500). The 1st Prize Award also comes with a one month developmental attachment to BP Singapore.
The "Green Wave" is a national environmental project that aims to involve the community in learning to care for and protect our environment.
